In the article, Syrian Refugees in America, the republicans have voted that they want to make it more difficult for refugees to get to the U.S. They are only doing this because of the attack in Paris, but what the U.S. doesn’t know is that we are actually helping ISIS because they want us to be afraid of the refugees. The governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie, said that New Jersey won't even accept orphans under the age of 5. The process that the refugees have to go through to get to the U.S. takes anywhere from 18 months to 2 years. If Refugees don’t want to wait almost 2 years to get into the U.S., They can find someone in Europe to smuggle them across the border for $1,000. Also in Europe they only have to get fingerprinted and they don’t need identification. After they are transported to Europe they can go to Germany, Austria or Sweden and claim asylum. Obama has committed to taking 10,000 of the Syrian refugees in his coming year. 80,000 Syrian refugees have been granted asylum in the EU so far this year. This article has a point it isn’t fair for people that have been born and raised in the United States to have to make room for refugees to come live in our country. We have to worry about our people before thinking about other countries people at the moment.
